PPTM's Throwing Miami's Most Unhinged Fall Party (Yes, in October. Yes, We Know It's Still 85 Degrees.)

Listen, we get it. Miami doesn't have seasons. We have "slightly less humid" and "unbearably humid" and that's basically our whole meteorological situation. But you know what? We're doing fall anyway, and we're doing it so aggressively that even people in New England are going to be like "damn, that's a lot."

PeoplePlacesThingsMiami is throwing Gourds Gone Wild on Friday, October 10th from 9PM to 1AM at Cervecería La Tropical, and this is the fall party to end all fall parties. Heavy-hitter DJs. Pumpkin carving. Costume contests. Free tooth gems. A complimentary pumpkin spice coffee station (because of course there is.) We're bringing every single fall cliche to life and we're not apologizing for any of it.

Party With Purpose (Because We're Not Just Cute, We Actually Care)

While the party is free , we're asking everyone to bring canned goods to donate to OneWorld.OneHeart.Org, a local non-profit that provides meals and hygiene products to Miami's unhoused community every single week.

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Contest: $25 entry gets two people a pumpkin and all the carving supplies needed to enter the competition. $5 from every entry goes directly to Camillus House to support Miami's unhoused community. Carve it, paint it, turn it into art, whatever. Winners and runner up's get a prize and the satisfaction of being better at pumpkins than everyone else.

Costume Contest: Two Categories, Infinite Chaos

🍁 Fall Final Boss For whoever shows up most dripped in pumpkin spice energy. The most exaggerated, over-the-top, I-woke-up-and-chose-autumn look takes the crown. Go full unhinged or go home.

🍂 Bestie Harvest Two gourds, one prize. For the duo that came locked in as a team with coordinated fall fits. Matchy-matchy, complementary, chaotic pair energy, whatever. As long as it screams fall, you're in the running.
