Tudo Bem.zip: Brasil Invades Downtown Miami

Here's what happened Saturday.

The Corner filled up fast. By 1AM there wasn't a corner of The Corner that wasn't moving. By 2AM people who came alone had a group. By 3AM nobody remembered what language they were speaking because it didn't matter anymore. The whole room was singing something and it all sounded right.

Then João Brasil got on the MPC and lost his mind. In a good way. At one point he climbed on top of the furniture, MPC still going, and the crowd cheered like it was the most normal thing in the world.

That's what Tudo Bem does. It builds a room where the culture doesn't have to explain itself. Where brasileiros can sing every word and the person next to them who doesn't speak a lick of Portuguese is going just as hard because the bass doesn't need a translator. Where someone from Orlando drives three hours and someone from Doral drives twenty minutes and they end up on the same dance floor feeling the same thing.
